February 2011 Update
Well, big changes for Chuck and I. Just last month in January,we sold our house in Clive, Iowa and moved back over to the East Side to Pleasant Hill. With our kids, grandchildren and other family members already living on the East Side, it was time to really move back home. We missed so much while we lived in Illinois and weren"t always conveniently available while living on the West Side. Now that we have another grandchild due in a few months, we are not going to miss a thing if we can help it. Just minutes away-can't beat it. We are also closer to my Mom in Altoona for whatever she needs-fun visits or any emergencies if need be.
Chuck is now working at Katecho out by the airport. PMP and Manager of the Existing Product Engineering Dept. He started within days of our move. The Hwy 65 Bypass is a Godsend.
I came out of retirement for about a year and went back to my previous profession as an Optician. I re-retired when we moved to Pleasant Hil, while I get our house in order and spend time with f...Expand for more
amily. But am always keeping my options open.
I am still on the Reunion Committee and have never stopped searching for those "Lost" classmates. It's always exciting when I can make contact with someone we have searched so diligently for.
2009 Update
We've been living in our house here in Clive, Iowa since we moved back from the Chicago area the summer of 2004. We spent 12 years there.
Chuck is working at Buccaneer in West Des Moines as the Project Manager for the SDI Division. I have retired(?)
We have 2 grown married children and 3 grandchildren, all living in the area.
We've been married almost 36 years now.
With what little free time we have we enjoy working on our house and relaxing as much as we can in the outdoors.
Last year I made the leap and joined the Class of '73 Reunion Committee. Spent a very exhausting 4 months working on it, but it was well worth it. If there's anyone out there that we didn't reach, just let me know and we will update your contact info on our Master Class List. We never stop searching.
